  1. LCD (Liquid Crystal Display):

TFT-LCD (thin-film transistor liquid crystal display): TFT (Thin-Film Transistor, thin film transistor) technology provides higher response speed, color accuracy and higher resolution for LCD displays.TFT-LCD is widely used in various embedded devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.

STN-LCD (Super Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystal Display): This type of screen is commonly used in low-cost embedded systems such as some microcontrollers and instrument panels.They typically have lower refresh rates and lower color depth.

 

  1. OLED (organic light-emitting diode display):

AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode Display): This type of OLED screen is self-luminous and does not require a backlight, resulting in higher contrast and lower energy consumption.They are commonly used in high-end smartphones and TVs.

PMOLED (Passive Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode Display): Compared with AMOLED, PMOLED has a simpler structure and lower cost, but may not be as good as AMOLED in some aspects (such as refresh speed and color depth).

These displays are made up of countless LED (light-emitting diode) pixels and can be made in various sizes and shapes.LED displays have the advantages of high brightness, high contrast and long life, but the cost is usually higher.

Dot matrix LED display: It is composed of multiple small LED modules and is usually used for outdoor billboards, information displays, etc.
