1. Screen Form: From "Small Screens" to "Large Screens + Multi-Screens"​

Traditional small screens of 4-5 inches will gradually be replaced by high-definition large screens of 6-8 inches. Some high-end vehicle models will also adopt a dual-screen design of "driver screen + passenger screen". The driver screen is responsible for displaying riding data, while the passenger screen supports entertainment functions (such as playing music and videos).​

2. Function Integration: Integrating "Sensing + Control"​

Future LCD screens will no longer be limited to "display" functions, but will integrate more sensor and control functions. For example:​

  • Integrated Tire Pressure Monitoring: Real-time display of tire pressure through the screen to avoid the risk of tire blowouts;​
  • Voice Control Support: Voice adjustment of modes and music playback through wake-up words such as "Hello, Electric Vehicle", realizing "contactless operation";​
  • Linkage with Safety Systems: When the LCD screen detects emergency braking, it automatically triggers the taillights to flash, reminding vehicles behind.​

3. Energy Optimization: More Energy-Efficient to Extend the Overall Vehicle Range​

Through low-power LCD panels (such as alternative technologies for OLED screens) and intelligent backlight adjustment, future electric vehicle LCD screens will further reduce power consumption. For example:​

  • Automatically enter "sleep mode" when stationary, only displaying time and battery level to reduce power consumption;​
  • Automatically adjust the screen brightness according to the remaining battery power, reducing the brightness when the battery level is low to extend the range.
