A high-quality electric vehicle LCD screen may experience issues such as screen flickering, unresponsive touch, or black screen if not properly maintained, which shortens its service life. Master the following 3 maintenance tips to make the screen more durable:

1. Cleaning: Use the Right Tools to Avoid Scratching the Screen

Daily Cleaning: Wipe the screen with a soft microfiber cloth (such as an eyeglass cloth). Avoid using rough materials like paper towels or towels to prevent scratching the tempered glass.
Stubborn Stains (e.g., dust, oil stains): Moisten a microfiber cloth with a small amount of clean water, wring it out thoroughly, and then wipe gently. Do not rinse the screen directly with water or use alcohol and detergents (which may corrode the screen coating).

2. Waterproofing: Prevent "Hidden Water Infiltration" and Handle Standing Water Promptly

Rainy Day Protection: If the screen has a low waterproof rating, put on a dedicated waterproof cover when riding in the rain to prevent rainwater from seeping into the screen through gaps around its edges.
Standing Water Handling: If water accidentally gets into the screen, turn off the electric vehicle power immediately. Use a dry cloth to absorb surface moisture, then place the screen in a well-ventilated and dry area to air-dry (do not expose it to direct sunlight or blow it directly with a hair dryer, as this may damage the screen due to overheating). Only turn on the power again after confirming the screen is completely dry.

Do Not Press the Screen Frequently: Especially for touchscreen LCDs, excessive force when pressing may damage the touch layer, resulting in "unresponsive touch".
Avoid Long-Term Exposure to Direct Sunlight: High temperatures will accelerate screen aging and cause damage to the backlight layer (leading to "partial black screen"). Try to park the electric vehicle in a shaded area.
Handle Malfunctions Promptly: If you notice screen flickering or abnormal display, first check if the connecting wires are loose. If the wires are properly connected but the malfunction persists, contact professional maintenance personnel in a timely manner to prevent the problem from worsening.
