Working Principle of Thermostat Switch LCD Screen

A thermostat switch is essentially a device that can automatically switch the on-off state of a circuit according to changes in ambient temperature. When the surrounding temperature reaches a preset threshold, the temperature-sensing element inside the thermostat switch will undergo physical changes, which in turn triggers the opening and closing action of the circuit to achieve effective temperature control.

The LCD screen utilizes the special optical properties of liquid crystals. An LCD is composed of two glass plates with a liquid crystal material filled in between, with a thickness of only about 1mm and a uniform interval of 5μm. The light emitted by the backlight passes through the first polarizing filter layer and then enters the liquid crystal layer. Between the glass plates and the liquid crystal material, there are transparent electrodes, which are divided into rows and columns. At the intersection of rows and columns, the rotation state of the liquid crystal can be changed by varying the voltage. The liquid crystal material is like small light valves. When the electrodes generate an electric field, the liquid crystal molecules twist, refract the light passing through them in a regular manner, and finally display corresponding images or information on the screen through the second filter layer. When the thermostat switch is combined with the LCD screen, the state changes of the thermostat switch can be intuitively presented through the LCD screen, allowing users to clearly see information such as the current temperature setting value, actual temperature value, and the operating status of the device.
